According to the MOU, UDD has initiated a planning package for Mymensingh municipality and its surrounding rural areas for mainstreaming disaster risk reduction in land use planning and management. As part of implementation of the planning package, a Technical Management Committee (TMC) has been formed by the Ministry of Housing and Public works through a gazette notification vide memo no. 25.03.0000.014.00.016.11.260 dated 22.04.2013 consisting of 15 (fifteen) members chaired by the Joint Secretary (Development), Ministry of Housing and Public Works for effective implementation of the project.  The Gazette notification for the formation of TMC is given in Appendix-I.
